The Munich

The famous fairground is located in the heart of the city near the

about the possibilities for public transport...
Arrive with public transportThe "public transport" is the first choice to go to the Oktoberfest. Here you have many options. The stops of the city railroad (S-Bahn), the underground (U Bahn), bus and streetcar (Tram) are all around the fairground and are only a few minutes walk away. For visitors with handicap there is wheelchair accessible. The following is an overview of the stops around the party-area. You can also get detailed information about the railways and stops... Subway (U-Bahn)
Arrive with your own car There are no parking facilities or parking spaces around the fairground. And there is no possibility to get near to the fairground because there're three "security rings". And the rule is - dont drink and drive! The beer is really strong and driving eben with only one mass not possible anymore. So it's the best to let your car at home. |
